Perfect Day

Once again, we are having wonderful weather here in Waldorf, MD. Today, it's 64 degrees. Down right, just a perfect day. Just too bad that Courtney had to work, so he couldn't enjoy it with us.

McKaila and I only played around in the backyard for about 45 minutes, before she had to go down for a nap, but it was so wonderful. McKaila just loves running around the backyard. Yes, I said running. She spent most of the time outside just chasing around the dogs, but they all were enjoying it. It helped though cuz within 10 minutes of getting inside, McKaila was down for a nap and the dogs were snoring away.

Miss Independent

McKaila is a super independent girl. She loves digging into her toy chest, finding what she wants and goes away and play. She's very chill and would rather play on her own then to have Daddy or Mommy playing with her. Her favorite thing lately is her cheerleader doll. She'll push her to do a cheer and do a little shimmy of her booty. It's so adorable.

Here's a few pictures of McKaila throughout the week

15 Months

Today, our little McKaila is 15 months old! That also meant that we had to take McKaila to the doctor for her 15 month appointment. So, this morning we had to get McKaila up a little earlier then usual, so she could get some breakfast in her and get ready to head to base. Thankfully, it was a quick trip with no shots!!
McKaila weighs in at 22 lbs and her height is 31.25 inches. We asked the doctor this time about percentiles, so she wrote them down for us. For weight, 46% and for height, 83%. McKaila is a tall little girl, that's for sure. We now know that for a fact, after everyone says it to us!

McKaila is super healthy and growing great!

Princess Castle

Today, I finally put up McKaila's princess castle that Auntie Amber and David got her for Christmas. She has so many other toys that I haven't put it up, so finally today, I thought today would be a good day to bring it out. And oh my did she love it.

McKaila loved getting inside her castle and dancing. She'd get in there and stomp around and run around in circles. It was adorable.

But her favorite thing of all was playing peek-a-boo. She'd look at me through the door, then she'd go to the window and peek at me through there. She kept doing that for about 15-20 minutes. She was having so much fun.

New Orleans Saints

Yes, I know. The Saints lost, but McKaila was in her Saints gear, cheering them on, so I had to post how freakin' adorable see looked!

Wait, What??

What, it's 60 degrees outside on the 12th of January?!? Yup, that's right. It's currently 60 degrees here in Waldorf, Maryland. It's a nice change from the snow we had just a few days ago. But, this nice weather isn't going to last very long because tomorrow it's back to the 40 and 30 degree weather. Not looking forward to that, but this 60 degree weather was wonderful while it lasted!

Courtney has wanted to wash the cars for a while now, but it's always too cold and/or rainy when he gets a couple days off, so when he woke up this morning, that's the first thing he said he wanted to do. So, after breakfast and cleaning up the house a bit, the whole family went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.

McKaila has always loved playing outside, so she was excited when we let her run around outside. She was running around the cars, going up and down the drive way and stomping around in the water. She was laughing and waving at all the cars driving by. She was having so much fun, so she definitely wasn't happy when we had to go inside for lunch.
