Happy Halloween 2015

The girls have been really excited about going trick or treating, so they were bummed when we had to tell them that trick or treating in our neighborhood was cancelled. (the forecast, showed rain, so they moved trick or treating to Monday night, but we will be in Texas) Thankfully, last night after we found out, we realized that they had some trick or treating going on, on base. So, within 20 minutes, we got the girls ready and took some pictures, while Logan was still sleeping and once Logan was awake, we got him dressed up, took some pictures, and headed to base. 

Halloween 2015 was a success even with it being last minute!!

Grandma P. Comes For A Visit

We were so excited when we found out that Courtney's mom was going to be able to come visit us. The girls especially were excited about seeing Grandma. We get to FaceTime a lot, but it's always so much better when they are right in front of you, to give you lots of hugs and kisses. 

The girls especially loved all the time that we spent at the beach with Grandma. It wasn't go in the water nice days, but it was great weather to take a walk on the beach. The girls with the help of Grandma found lots and lots of cool shells to bring home. 

It was great to have her here and it was sad to see her go, but we hope she can come visit again real soon!

Happy 5th Birthday, McKaila Rose

McKaila Rose,

You have become such an amazing little girl, with so much spirit. You love life and excited to take on each day, especially when it's a school day. You are a smarty pants, and love to learn. You surprise us each and every day with the knowledge that you learn and are so very proud of you! We love you, McKaila Rose, happy birthday!

McKaila's Ariel Birthday Party

We celebrated McKaila's 5th birthday with her friends today. We couldn't have asked for better weather or friends to join us in celebrating McKaila. 

It was a small party. Only invited 2 other families. We will be going to Texas in a couple weeks,  where we will be taking McKaila to Sea World for her birthday, so we told her she could have a party, but it was going to be very small. Even with it being small, it was a great little party and the best part of it was seeing the big smile on McKaila's face the whole time.
