Christmas LOVE

Grandma Kuipers (my mother) bought the kids super cute Christmas outfits. We have had them for a while now, but I finally had the chance to get the kids dressed up and get some pictures taken of them. They look absolutely adorable and look so big!

Thanks Grandma for the cute outfits!

Merry Christmas 2015

Christmas, like always, came and went very fast, but with that, it was still an amazing day!

Like most kids, our kids were more than ready to start opening the presents as soon as their eyes opened Christmas morning. We made the kids wait a bit so we could enjoy breakfast together before all they would want to do is play with all their new toys.

So, when it came time to open presents, they didn't waste any time. Before we knew it, wrapping paper was every where and the girls were repeating themselves over and over to remove their toys from their boxes.

The whole Polnicky clan were beyond spoiled by "Santa", Auntie (Amber), both sets of grandparents including the great grandparents.  THANK YOU!!

It was love at first sight for McKenna and her new blankie

Unlike the girls when they were little, Logan quickly tore open his presents

Logan loves his new Mickey Mouse

McKaila fell in love with her new Roxy

Merry Christmas Eve 2015

In keeping up with our family traditions, Christmas Eve has been all about being together as a family. We bake cookies, then we decorate them. To end our night, we watch The Polar Express all together while eating popcorn and read The Night Before Christmas before the kids lay their heads down for the night.

Cookies and milk for Santa and chex mix for the reindeer

Love our 3 little chicklins so much!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

McKaila's First Tooth Lost

About a month ago, I got a video from Courtney while I was out with McKaila telling me she had her very first loose tooth. She was really excited about it, but a little scared at the same time. Every day, she would show Courtney and I how wiggly it was getting and would ask if it was ready to come out yet.

In the last couple days, the tooth really started to bother her, and last night while relaxing before bed, McKaila went up to Courtney to show him her tooth. It was ready to come out.

One of her favorite shows to watch as a family is America's Funniest Video, so she told Courtney that she wanted to do what she has seen other kids do and wrap a string around her tooth and slam the door, to get the tooth out. As Courtney was prepping for that, McKaila went to wiggle her tooth and it came out. It really freaked her out at first because it was bleeding a little bit, but she was proud of herself for taking it out all on her own.

McKaila was really excited to finally put the tooth fairy pillow to use. She put her tooth in the pocket and hung it on her bed and awaited that tooth fairy.

McKaila got $5 from the tooth fairy

McKaila's School Christmas Program

For weeks before McKaila's christmas program, she would constantly sing the songs that she had been learning in music class at home and would tell us how excited she was to show us what they have been practicing.

She was a choir member, so she repeatedly told us that she got to sing inside the christmas tree. We weren't really sure on what that meant, but we were excited along with her.

On the night of the Christmas program, she told us she was more excited than nervous, so it was no big surprise that from the moment she walked down the aisle to her spot in the tree, she had a huge smile on her face. She was one happy little girl to be up there and she was even more excited when she found mommy and daddy sitting there watching her.

She did such a great job and so proud of her!

LASIK

For a long time now, I have talked about getting lasik done. I have had glasses since middle school and have gone between glasses and contacts since then.

This year, I started to talk a little more seriously about it, and finally made an appointment with a doctor here in Biloxi.

Once I had my appointment and got approved to do it, it was full steam ahead. Within two weeks I was in the room getting ready to see for the first time in a long time without glasses.

Everything went really well and the minute I sat up after 10 minutes or so of working on my eyes, I could see. It was crazy that it was so soon after that I was able to see clearly in front of me. My eyes were really irritated though and the doctor said it would help to just sleep the couple hours after to sleep away that irritation. Well... I slept for about 4 and I felt great when I woke up.

I am so used to waking up and having to search for my glasses to see what was in front of me and this was the first time I didn't need to do that!

I feel so blessed that I was able to get it done and not have the horrible headaches I would get from wearing my glasses all the time. So, thank you to my hubby for baring with me while I was going back and forth on my decision to do this and for taking care of me and the kiddos while I was sleeping away my pain.

Christmas Pictures 2015

We love Christmas time and when I told the kids it was time for Christmas pictures for our cards, they got really excited. There aren't many times where they get excited for pictures, but I guess knowing that they could play around with Christmas lights, it was a little more exciting!

It's crazy to think that last year, when we were out at the beach taking pictures for our cards, there was only the girls and Logan was just a sonogram picture on our card. Now, we have all 3 of our beautiful kids smiling for the camera.

Merry Christmas!!!
