Big Boy Haircut

Logan finally got a big boy haircut. We have always had Christy just trim his hair up, but I knew the time would come that I would have to cave and do the big boy haircut.  

I was getting sick of his mop of hair, so one morning I told Courtney to bring Logan to get his hair cut. Courtney said he did an amazing job and just sat there while the guy made him look like a big boy. 

When Courtney sent me the picture of him and his new haircut, I teared up for sure. He sure isn't my small little baby anymore.

Auntie Comes For A Visit

We are now only 6 hours from my sister "Auntie" Amber, so after a couple weeks of being in North Carolina, she was on her way to come visit us. 

It's always great to have family come visit, but knowing that they are so much closer to us now, I hope the visits are a lot more frequent. 

Since, this was our second weekend here, we did a lot of exploring. We drove around the city, and came up on a food festival going on, so even though it was hot, we went walking around to see what it was all about. Got some great free samples of food and drinks. 

And the next day, we decided to go to Kings Mountain. We hiked the mountain for about 2.2 miles. It was a hot one, but all of us had a great time. Something that I know our family will end up doing again for sure!
