Hollywood Studios and Epcot

Our first half of the day was spent at Hollywood Studios. The girls were really excited about going to Hollywood Studios because they knew they were going to be meeting all their favorite Disney Junior characters. We started out by going to see Anna and Elsa in a show and then quickly walked over to meet Doc, Jake, and Sofia.

McKenna wasn't a fan of the storm troopers

The girls got an extra princess surprise when we were walking out of Hollywood Studios. We were walking out and saw no lines to meet some of the princesses, so they got to meet Princess Mulan and Princess Tiana. McKenna really wanted to meet Genie, but he was walking away by the time we got there.

The 2nd half of the day was spent at Epcot. We had booked a dinner with the princesses, but we wanted to get there a little earlier so we could enjoy Epcot a little bit. We didn't get to do a whole lot and there was a lot of stuff we didn't get to do that we wanted to, but I'm sure we will be back!

Time for dinner with the princesses. The girls were so excited about this. They talked about how excited they were for months before our trip and when it finally happened, they didn't even want to sit down and eat because they just wanted to see the princesses roaming around.

This ended up being our last night at Disney World. We have one day left on our hopper tickets, so hopefully we will be able to use our last day before the end of the year!

Disney World is an amazing place and we are excited about having many more adventures there!

Exciting News

No, I'm not pregnant... hahaha

Our exciting news is we will be relocating to Charlotte within the next couple months.  Courtney was selected for a new position in the Air Force.  More than likely Courtney will be starting work at the end of April while I stay back with the kids and McKaila will graduate preschool a couple weeks later.

Courtney's new position will be Active Guard Reserve (AGR), in Airfield Management.  It will be in the the Air National Guard (Air Force) and still active duty, we will get all the same great benefits.

The main reason why Courtney worked really hard to get this job is because we will NOT be moving every few years.  Now that the kids are starting school we really want to stay in one place. I grew up with the same friends and same schools while Courtney moved all the time changing schools until High School. He didn't want the kids to go through that so when he saw this opportunity he applied for it immediately.

We prayed long and hard for all this to work out for our family and even though it's been a long process we are very excited that everything has worked out. There is a lot more to do but we are excited for everything ahead of us.

We are very excited to start our new journey in North Carolina!

Animal Kingdom

Our 2nd Disney day was to Animal Kingdom. We decided after the long day we had at Magic Kingdom we were going to sleep in the next morning and head to Animal Kingdom around lunch time.

Each one of us was very excited about going to Animal Kingdom. Other than Amber, none of us had ever been to Animal Kingdom, so we were eager to see everything. The kids love all kinds of animals, so they were excited about everything they saw. Birds, alligators, bats, cheetas, and everything in between.

To end our adventure at Animal Kingdom we went on the safari. I think for all of us, this was our favorite part of the day. It was so cool to see all the animals up close like that. The kids were excited with every new animal they saw and wouldn't stop talking about it how fun it was.

Good Night from Animal Kingdom

It was a shorter Disney day for us, but it was perfect!
Another successful day at Disney in the books!!
