Sprinkler

Yesterday, we spent most of the afternoon going here and there around Waldorf. By the end of our shopping trips, we were all hot, but most off all, McKaila was sweating while sleeping in her car seat. So, when we got home, we got the sprinkler out and placed it in the middle of the front yard.

McKaila was a little weary at first, but after a few times going through the sprinkler with Daddy, she was brave enough to do all on her own. She was having a blast. She only would stop to watch the airplanes fly in front of the house. It was so cute, but also brought some tears to my eyes because she looked so grown up doing it all on her own.

We know now, that on a hot summer day, she's really going to be enjoying running through the sprinkler, like Courtney and I did when we were kids.
