Like every other year our main places to go are Best Buy and Target. Between the stores we probably took home between 6-8 Blu-rays. Can you tell we are a family that likes to watch movies? One Blu-ray I was excited to score for $6.99 was the Wizard of Oz. One of my all time favorite movies.
After getting our load of Blu-rays, we got a quick bite to eat and then started to head towards the outlet mall. I knew Carters and The Children's Place were having some great deals. But we never made it there.
We never made it there because we ended up at the Honda dealership. Ever since we had McKenna, all I have been talking about is wanting a van. I loved our CRV, but there just wasn't the room in it that I felt we needed. So, we have been talking about selling the CRV and just having one car for a bit, to save up some money. So. We ended up at the dealership, just to see what they would give us for the CRV. We had no intentions of purchasing anything.
As the salesman was getting the paperwork together for them to look over our car, he came back to tell us about the Honda Odyssey that they just received through trade in. It was everything that we were looking for. It was silver, low miles, sun roof and a 2012. So, even though we weren't looking to purchase anything, Courtney got on the phone with the bank and put together some numbers.
After a long afternoon of waiting for the bank to get back to us, everything lined up the way we wanted them too and that night we got to drive home our 2012 Honda Odyssey.
Now I can call myself a soccer mom. I will officially become a soccer mom in January when McKaila will start soccer with her Daddy as coach, which I am really looking forward to!
All in all our Black Friday was full of some great purchases that definitely surprised us!
