Ever since we had McKaila, we have gotten a real Christmas tree. I was unsure of it at first because of the mess from the pine needles, but I have been hooked on getting a real tree every year since.
Since getting to Wyoming, it's been a little more difficult finding a real tree that we fall in love with. They only have a place on the side of the road to get them here in Cheyenne and of course the Lowes and Home Depot have them, but I'm not too fond on buying our tree from there.
So, with some facebook research, I found a cute little nursery not far from us that sells them. They had a great selection of trees. They had countless trees there that just so happened to be shipped in from Michigan, but we fell in love with a tree that was cut down in the mountains here.
It's not a tree I normally would go for because I usually love having a very full tree, but we loved that this tree was unique, so we went with it.
The kids couldn't wait to get home, put their Christmas pj's on and get started putting all the ornaments on the tree. And for Logan, he couldn't wait to get the Polar Express set up around the tree. Once the train was all set up, he laid there for a good 20 minutes just watching the train go around and around the tree!
