Travels To Our New Home

On the road again, and again, and again and again.

It was 3 full days in the car, with it starting with us leaving Cheyenne and driving the 2 1/2 hours to Colorado Springs.

As soon as the truck was loaded and ready to go in Cheyenne, we got in the car and started our adventures of traveling to our new home in South Carolina.

After spending our first night in Colorado Springs, it was time to get back into the car and head to our next stop, Kansas City!!

Luckily for us, NASCAR was racing in Kansas City at the same time we were traveling, so we had to stop!! And even better, the truck race was still going on when we were by the track, so of course, we needed to stop. We even got out of the car and watched some of the last laps.

It was pretty awesome to be able to see a race, especially when you weren’t expecting to watch it. Made all 5 of us realize how much we have missed going to races. Let’s just hope with being closer to tracks with living in South Carolina, we are going to be able to attend a lot more races!!!!!!

After a night in Kansas City, it was time to get on the road again. Next stop…
Nashville!

Just like our past two stops, it was a very late night getting to our hotel. We decided to sleep in a bit and spend some time in Nashville. Courtney has been to Nashville for work, other than that, we have only driven through Nashville and didn’t get to explore.

So, we decided that even though it would mean getting to the house late, it was going to be worth it to take some time exploring Nashville a little. And I am so glad we did because I think we all needed a break from the car and do some walking around.

Our animals really surprised me on this trip. I didn’t know how well they would do (other than Meeko because he’s made all of these moves with us before) but the dogs did great! Gave them some calming medicine and they just chilled out and all cuddled together!

Wow!!! It was some long days in the car, which in turn, turned out to be some very late nights on the road, but we made it!!

South Carolina!
HOME SWEET HOME!
