I was honestly pretty sad when I thought about the fact that we wouldn’t be able to drive up to the national forest to cut down our Christmas tree this year. We had so much fun doing that every year, but now it’s time to make memories in a new place.
There aren’t a ton of places around here that you are able to cut down your own tree, but I was on a mission to find a place. I love having a real tree, but I especially love the fact that we can cut down our own tree for Christmas.
With lots of searching, I came across a Christmas tree farm that wasn’t too far away and you could cut your own tree down.

Moseley Old Time Christmas Tree Farm was a cute little place. Unfortunately, there weren’t a ton of trees left, but still plenty to browse through to try to find the perfect one for our family!
After going down every aisle of Christmas trees, we found the one!
Not too tall and not too short, but just perfect for our first Christmas in our new home!
I couldn’t wait to get home and see how perfect it would look in our home and the kids couldn’t wait to start decorating it.
Our Christmas tree is perfect! I love it!! And Elliott approves of it too!!
