Well, this was the last thing we expected to happen, but we have a new member of our family.
Meet Charlie!!
Courtney and I had to stop at McKaila’s school to drop off some paperwork. When we pulled up in front of the school, we started hearing a kitty cry and that’s when we saw a cute little black kitten. And when I say little, I mean a very small kitten. He was small, very dirty and probably only 3 or 4 weeks old.
There was a teacher that came up to us and asked if we knew where he came from or if there was any other kittens around. We had no idea, but she right away said that she couldn’t take the kitten, so yup, that’s how we ended up with the kitten.
Our plan wasn’t to keep him, we just wanted to wash him up and get him some food and water and find a possible rescue to take him too. But things change when you fall in love. And I wasn’t the only one, the kids fell hard too. Sometimes it’s not all that great having an animal loving family, it’s so hard separating for cute little kittens.
After lots of talks, we decided that Elliott was going to be the deciding factor in keeping Charlie. Elliott is our first concern with bringing another kitty around and thankful for us, Elliott welcomed Charlie as much as a cat can.
Welcome Home, Charlie!!
