Christmas is my favorite holiday. I mean, I even decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving.
When it comes to the kids, I want to make everything about the holiday season, extra special. This year, the kids did come down with colds, so we didn’t do as much, but we did what we could.
Thankfully, Christmas Eve came around and everyone was feeling back to their normal selfs. Which also meant, we didn’t need to be alone for Christmas. Todd and Jodi made their way up from Florida to be with us this Christmas. Since we both didn’t have anything going on for Christmas, we decided we should all be together. And it was perfect!
What is the perfect ending to the holiday season?!?
Going to Charlotte and seeing the Christmas lights at the speedway.
Every year the speedway ups their game with their Christmas lights and once again, this year was that much better, then the last.
After spending sometime going around the track, it was time to go to the garage area. This is where the speedway really upped their game. They so many more lights to walk through, fire pits all around for you to roast marshmallows and drink your hot chocolate. It was just down right perfect.
I’m so sad that the Christmas season is over. It sure was a good one. We made so many amazing memories, that will last a lifetime!!
