This weekend, we took the girls to see Santa. This was the first year, McKaila has understood who Santa was, so I was looking forward to seeing how she was going to act towards him. For McKenna, I knew she would do well, but I was a little worried she would cry after leaving my arms. She has been all about mommy since the day she came home from the hospital. So, Courtney handed McKenna to Santa and it went real well.
All McKaila could talk about all morning leading up to heading to the Beau Rivage was seeing Santa. Then, we get to the Beau Rivage and wait in line to sit on Santa's lap. Every chance she got she wanted to be lifted up to see where Santa was. I was thinking, because she was looking forward to seeing Santa, we would have a great picture of the girls on Santa's lap.

Well, once McKaila got up to Santa she wasn't impressed. All her excitement and eagerness to see Santa went out the window when she got on his lap. McKenna had a smile on her face while checking him out and McKaila looked like a grump. Oh well, it makes for some great memories and stories for the girls when they get older.
