First Day of School

Wow!! This summer just flew by, didn't it? I was so not ready for the first day of school. I wanted more summer days!

But, here we go!! 

Courtney and I decided it was in our families best interest to continue with virtual school, especially since Cheyenne was still offering it. We were truly hoping things would be different heading into this school year, but since they weren't, here we are again, doing school at home.

Thankfully, things are so much different with virtual school this year, than it was last year. Each kid was given an iPad for school work and they figured out a new system to use since the system last year didn't go so well for most families. 

Since it is a new school year, the kids wanted a bit of a change, so now their desks are in their rooms. I was feeling pretty uneasy about it. Mostly, because I wasn't sure the two littles would stay on task without me being right there next to them all the time, but they have proven me wrong. They have been very focused on their school work and I'm so proud of all 3 of them. 

I know it's hard for them to not be able to have in person school right now, but they are staying very positive and they have met some friends through virtual school that they otherwise would have not met. 

I know this school year has just started, but already it's been going so much better than last year.
