12!!!!!
I honestly can’t believe we are here already. I mean, our first baby is now that much closer to being a teenager. The tears certainly started streaming down my face the night before, saying good night to our then, 11 year old.
Can time just slow down a bit. I am so not ready for this!
I’m not ready for this, but I sure am proud of this girl! She is a smarty pants and is an amazing artist. She blows me away every single day with all the amazing drawings that she does. She is a creative soul and we love it!!
Like most birthdays, we FaceTime with family members, so they are able to watch McKaila open presents. For this birthday, not only did we have family on FaceTime, but we had grandpa and grandma Nancy joining us in person to help celebrate!!!
As always, McKaila was spoiled on her birthday and got everything that she asked for!!
To end the birthday celebrations for the day, we had to end it with the most delicious red velvet cake, with 12 candles on top!
McKaila had a great bday. She even said her day at school was good too. At lunch, the school sang “happy birthday” to her, which I’m unsure she liked or not, but she seemed pretty happy that they recognized her birthday at school!
