Happy 10th Birthday, McKenna Grace!

 McKenna has been looking forward to this day for a long time, me not so much, but our McKenna Grace is now 10 years old!

DOUBLE DIGITS!!

McKenna was very excited that her birthday fell on a school day, so she was able to celebrate her birthday with all her friends at school. To celebrate her birthday, McKenna brought mini cupcakes to enjoy with all her classmates! 

When it comes to McKenna, she loves to put on a show for everyone when we are at home, but out in front of others, she dislikes the attention when it’s focused on her. 

Just like when we went out for her birthday dinner. We told our waitress it was her birthday, so once we were done eating our dinner, here she comes with all the other servers and came out with dessert, a sombrero and all of them singing to her. She wasn’t too fond of the attention on her, but she did enjoy the dessert very much.

Once we got home, it didn’t take long before McKenna was in front of her presents, waiting for everyone to be ready to watch her open them all. 

McKenna was beyond spoiled and she loved everything about it! She may not like the attention when we are out in the public, but when we are at home, she lets all the attention sink in and loves it all! 

For her birthday this year, McKenna decided she wanted to have brownies, so the night before Daddy and McKenna made the brownies and they turned out delicious! 

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes via text, Facebook and FaceTime, McKenna felt very loved throughout the day, that’s for sure. 

And, thank you to Jojo and Auntie, along with Grandma Kuipers who took time out of their night to watch McKenna open her presents!!
