McKaila’s Military Ball

 McKaila is in JRROTC, which makes her eligible to attend the military ball.

McKaila is not one to want to dress up, so when she said she wanted to go, I was pretty surprised.

But, I’m so happy that she got out of her comfort zone a bit and decided to go.

Auntie did McKaila’s makeup, even though McKaila was very against it and I did her hair. 

Once we got to the school for the ball, McKaila became very nervous. It took a bit of time before she felt confident in herself to get out of the car, but when she did, all her friends couldn’t stop telling her how pretty she looked. 

McKaila had fun and was happy to see her friends outside of school. 

She may not have stayed the whole time, but she says she’s happy that she went!!
