Holland, Michigan!!

We love being able to take the kids back to our hometown. We may not be able to come back very often, but when we do, we do all the things. 

As any vacation, you need a vacation, from the vacation, but it’s all very much worth it. 

My favorite thing that we got to do, was taking the kids inside the civic center. I know, sounds strange, but I spent so much time there as a kid. To show them the crappy bleachers and taking them up into the balcony, where we would run around while dad played basketball. It was just a full circle moment, which I found pretty cool. 

The kids found the Wizard of Oz sculptors so cool. They didn’t realize the ties that the Wizard of Oz had to Holland.

Time in Holland isn’t complete without seeing Grandma Kuipers! It’s always great times with grandma and it never seems like enough time, we’re just happy that we all could be together.

We love you, grandma!

Last minute trip to the beach. We didn’t think we would be able to make our way down to the beach, but we did. It was quick, it was cold, and so worth it. Love having pictures of our kids standing in front of “Big Red”. 

Our time in Holland has come to a close. We made some great memories in the place that will always have a big space in our hearts! 

Thanks mom and dad for letting our family of 5 take over your house for a little bit.
