Day At The Lake

Our vacation was coming to an end, but there is no better way to end a vacation, then at the lake. 

We were very thankful to the VanOrders, that they were willing to let us invade there home for a couple nights. 

It didn't take long before the kids were out by the water. But it also didn't take long before someone fell into the water, which was McKenna. Well, she slipped into the water, twice. So, off to put on their swimsuits. 

Now, it's dinner time and the kids were jumping up and down when Jodi told them that we could eat our pizza while we were out on the boat. They have never been out on a boat before, so they were so excited about all of it. 

We had to get a good nights sleep 'cuz the next morning the rest of the family was going to come up to the lake. 

Very grateful that Gina, Rachael, and Jared were able to get their families up to the lake to join us for a day of fun before we left Michigan. 

All the  kids had lots of fun hanging out together. Fishing, dangling their feet in the water, running around in the yard, blowing bubbles, everything that you can think of to make it a perfect summer day, is what they did!

We even took another boat ride and our girls got to experience their first time going tubbing. Logan wasn't interested at all and I was pretty shocked that McKaila was all for it. She was pretty worried, especially after they wiped out before even taking off, but she was brave and got right back on.   

The lake was great, but the company was even better!! Thanks for the awesome time VanOrders!!
