Snow Fun

Isn't it suppose to be spring time?!?

Well... I guess Mother Nature had something different in mind for us here in Cheyenne.

We had a full night and day of snow fall, leaving us in Cheyenne with a total of about 6 inches of snow. Literally, the kids woke up and looked outside and said "isn't it spring?" Yeah, I hear ya kids. I'm sick of the cold and the snow. Hoping that this is the last of the snow fall for now, at least until winter comes back.

The next morning, once we were all up and ready to start the school day, the kids were already asking if they could go play out in the snow. Since it was a school day, we told them they needed to complete their school work for the day, then they could enjoy the snow.

So, before lunch, we got all bundled up and headed outside. Thankfully, it wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be, so we really didn't need to be bundled up like we were, but the kids didn't complain of being hot, they were just excited to be playing around in the snow.

The kids enjoyed taking turns on the sled, had a snow ball fight, made snow angels and the kids with Courtney's help made their very own Olaf.

The kids couldn't agree on what kind of hat they wanted, so they decided on using little twigs, just like Olaf's hair. And we didn't have anything for the snowman's mouth, nose, and eyes, so Courtney pulled out some spray paint and used that!

The kids were so happy with their little snowman!

Thankfully, by the end of the day all the snow was gone and we just had a little snowman still standing!!
