This year, McKenna and Logan were all about wanting to paint their pumpkins. While McKaila, she wanted to do some carving! With the help from daddy of course.
McKenna and Logan were in the zone when it came to painting their pumpkins. I would say they spent a good 45 minutes on the paintings. McKenna maybe some more because she kept deciding that she wanted to add more. More, to the point, that her whole pumpkin was painted. In the end, she was one proud little girl for what she did!
McKaila, even though she wanted to carve her pumpkin, she wasn't too sure about cleaning out her pumpkin to start it off. But, we did talk her into it and took a couple handfuls and that was that for cleaning the inside of her pumpkin.
Logan and McKenna were so proud of their work and well... Ms. Artist, McKaila, was a bit jealous of all the painting going on, that she needed to add some artwork to her pumpkin too.
I may not be the biggest fan of the mess that paint may cause, but seeing these creative minds work, puts my anxiety from the mess to the side (for the most part). And plus, they love to paint, so I have to just let the mess be sometimes.
