Luna & Emma

When we decided to get Emma, my biggest concern was Luna. I made it a point to always say to the kids that we can't forget about Luna or Meeko once Emma is home with us. Even though we are going to be loving on a new puppy, I never wanted Luna to feel like she was no longer loved. 

And I was also worried that Luna wasn't going to like Emma at all. 

I literally was worrying for no reason at all. These two love each other. Meeko still likes to keep his distance, which doesn't surprise me at all, but Luna and Emma have become the best of friends.  

Where you find Luna, you will find Emma. In the mornings, these two eat their breakfast and instantly, it's play time. When it's time to rest, you will most likely find them cuddled together. Luna does like her space (she takes after me... haha) but she gives in and lets Emma cuddle with her. 

When these two are napping, they are playing. It's great entertainment for sure. I think Emma thinks she's big like Luna in the way she wants to play, and believe it or not, Emma can take down Luna. It's so funny to watch. 

I am so happy that things have worked out so well when it comes to the dogs. You could see a change in Luna when Pebbles passed. Luna and Pebbles didn't interact too much due to the fact that Pebbles was old and blind, but Luna was always there to help show her the way. So, it was so nice to see Luna back to herself once Emma came into the family. 

Luna, Emma, and Meeko are so very loved by us, their humans, and I think they feel that love every minute of the day!!
