Happy Thanksgiving!

 HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM THE POLNICKY CLAN!!

This year, Courtney decided that he wanted to try something different this year when it came to the turkey. He wanted to try smoking it on the charcoal grill. He did a test run with a turkey breast and it turned out to be delish, so now time to test our 25 pound turkey. Courtney was just unsure when he needed to get the turkey on the grill, so as soon as he woke up, the turkey went on the grill. 7 hours later, the turkey was done and it looked delish!! 

While the turkey was cooking on the grill, I was busy making all the other yummy sides that we enjoy on Thanksgiving. Deviled eggs, masked potatoes, creamed corn, stuffing, green bean casserole and you can’t forget the rolls. I’m not a baker by any means, so we found a local bakery and got rolls from them to enjoy on Thanksgiving!

Dinner was amazing and we all filled our bellies up to the brim. Even to the point that we were so full, we didn’t even remember to eat our pie, but I don’t think either of us could have fit a piece of pie in our bellies. 

We had a great Thanksgiving and hope every one else did too!
