MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
The kids were up bright and early, but mommy and daddy were tired, so we slept in a little. Which also meant that as soon as we came downstairs, the kids were itching to start opening presents.
So, we got out the iPads, started FaceTiming grandma and grandpa Kuipers, along with Auntie and Jojo, so they could share the excitement of opening presents with the kids.
The kids have been staring at the presents under the tree for a couple weeks now, so they were very eager to open the presents, so it didn’t take long for the kids to tear open all the presents and begin playing with everything that they got.
It was a great Christmas, but it was also a very hard day. It was the first time in a while that Auntie wasn’t here with us at Christmas. It was strange doing all the Christmas fun without her physically here and just seeing each other on FaceTime. I know it was hard on all of us to not be all together, but I think all together we all had a pretty dang good Christmas.
Christmas isn’t complete without making some pizza!!
I totally forgot to take pictures of the kids helping daddy making the dough for our pizza, but they helped and I forgot to document it. The pizza was delish and a perfect way to end our Christmas Day!
