The big day is here!!
It’s Christmas!!!
Just like any other day, the kids were up bright and early and ready to start their day. Today, they were even more eager to start their day. They couldn’t wait until things were ready downstairs so they could run down the stairs to see what Santa had left them!
Santa gave Logan a model car of Chase Elliott, McKenna got an ultimate scrapbook kit and McKaila got her cat manakin. The kids were so happy with their gifts from Santa, but they were ready to move on to all the other gifts that have been sitting under the tree.
There wasn’t a lot of gifts under the tree, but the gifts aren’t what matters, it’s the memories that we are making together. It’s the time we are spending together because we aren’t going to always have all this time together. When the kids are older and have their own families we may not have everyone together like we do now, so we have to make sure to cherish this time together when we have it!
It was a great first Christmas in our new home and I can’t wait to have many, many more Christmas spent in our home for years to come!
