When Courtney and I decided that we were going to put the kids back in school once we moved to South Carolina, I was a little hesitant about it. Not only because I have had all 3 of them at home with me the last couple years, but I wasn’t too sure how the kids would do going back to school. They surpassed every doubt that I ever had.
I think for us, we were mostly worried that they wouldn’t be on the same wave length as the other kids in their school and well… we shouldn’t have ever worried about anything.
The kiddos have done amazing and now they are showing off their true potential every single day at school. We have gotten countless amounts of praise from all 3 of their teachers and feel so incredibly proud. And now seeing their awards they are receiving not only voted on by their teachers, but their classmates too!
Logan for the 2nd time this school year has become leader of the month. This leadership award was given to him by his art teacher. So, out of all the kids in his school (2nd and 3rd graders) he was chosen by his art teacher. Logan also got leader of the week, which was voted on by his classmates.
McKenna has done amazing being back in in-person school. At first she did struggle a bit, but with everything that has been put in front of her, she keeps on getting better. McKenna was awarded the Panther Plus award by going above and beyond and she also received the Panther Plus award for having that Panther pride!!
McKaila has blown us away with her eagerness to learn. She isn’t always so excited about going to school each day, but she has done some amazing things in her first year of middle school. She was awarded with the A Honor Roll for 2nd quarter and she received the highest average for ELA in 6th grade. I mean… what?!? How awesome is that?
Courtney and I are beyond proud of these 3! They are each doing amazing things in their grade levels and we look forward to see all the things that they will continue to accomplish the rest of this school year and beyond!
