Logan's First Foods

Logan had been showing some interest in food, by eyeing everything that Courtney and I were putting into our mouths and even grabbing at our food. So, one morning I thought I would give the whole feeding thing a try. 

I started out by making Logan some oatmeal cereal. He was not a fan, i mean i don't blame him, but it was too the point where he spit up after it. So, thankfully I had some other baby food on hand and gave him some applesauce. 

He didn't know what to think of it at first, but in the end, he was a fan. He ended up eating a half jar of applesauce in his first sitting. So, proud of our little boy.

Days of Summer

We celebrated the first day of summer, along with Father's Day with a day of play outside in the pool. 

 We decided to get out the pool and start filling it up by 9 a.m. We get shade in our backyard in the mornings, so it was the perfect time for the girls to enjoy the pool before it got to hot with the sun shinning down on them. 

The girls had so much fun splashing around, that when it came to lunch time, it was a struggle to get them out. So, it was a quick lunch outside and soon after they were both at it in the pool. 

Even Logan joined in on the fun, but he wasn't too fond of it. He didn't mind his toes being dipped in, but if Courtney tried to put the rest of his body into the water, he wasn't happy. The girls loved having their little brother in the water with them, so I am guessing next summer, the 3 of them are going to have a blast splashing around all together.

Logan loves to stand and sit on mommy or daddy, so only a few days ago did I try to see how he would do with the help of the Boppy behind him. He did so well! I am so proud of our baby boy!
