Happy 3rd Birthday, McKenna Grace

Time sure has flown by with this little one and with a blink of an eye, she has grown up so fast. She is a spit fire, that is for sure and she knows how to keep all of us on our toes, but she still has the sweetest soul.

McKenna can't go anywhere without her blankie and at least one of her lambies (which she has about 6 of them) And like I had said in her 2nd birthday post, Courtney and I always feels like she is older then what she is.

I know that she is going to do big things as she grows older and can't wait to see what those things are!

We love you, McKenna Grace!

Last Minute

Courtney was planning to make the trip to North Carolina on his own to pick up the keys to the house, but last minute, the kiddos and I decided to go with. I was very back and forth about going, but so glad we did.

We had to stay in a motel for a couple nights, which worked out okay, because Courtney had to do some things at work, so at least the kids and I could have breakfast and watch some Mickey Mouse while he did that.

When Courtney was done doing what he needed to, he would came back to pick us up and do some exploring. It got me even more excited about moving there after looking at everything they have there. Good shopping areas (IKEA), great restaurants, and there is so much to do. I'm looking forward to exploring Charlotte a lot more once we finally make the move!

We even made an impromptu stop at the Nascar Hall of Fame! I think I'm just excited to have all the NASCAR stuff around us. And I really can't wait to take the kids to an actual race. The hall of fame was so cool to see. I wish we could have read everything there was there, but the kiddos wouldn't allow that... haha but either way, it was a very fun time and the kids had fun seeing all the cars, especially the #88 car.

Chilling in the motel room

It was really great staying at the house for the first night all together. We may not of had anything, but we made the best of it. The kids had a lot of fun exploring the house and figuring out what toys were going where.

And it was nice for me to actually see the house in person because I had only seen it in a video that Courtney took while he toured the home. Now, I could really imagine where things would go and what we would need to get to make it really feel like home!

McKenna's 3rd Birthday Party

Today, we celebrated our almost 3 year old, McKenna Grace. We celebrated McKenna's birthday a little early, due to the fact that Courtney is going to start traveling to North Carolina, so before all the traveling began, we wanted to throw a birthday party. It's sad to think that this will be the last birthday party we will throw here, but our last birthday party was a great success!
