Talking and Smiling

Today McKaila and Mommy spent most of the day just hanging out while Daddy was sleeping. Courtney has been working the night shifts, working 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. So McKaila gets her Mommy time during the day and once Daddy wakes up she gets to spend time with him, giving Mommy a break to wash bottles, fold laundry and clean up the house.

McKaila has been very active during the day. She loves kicking around on her play mat while looking at herself in the mirror. While doing that she has been talking and smiling a lot. It is so adorable. We just can't wait to hear her first word!!!

McKaila has also been loving standing up. She's been doing this for a couple weeks now and is loving it. She's getting so strong. We both think that she's going to try to start walking before she starts to crawl.
