Visitors

This past weekend we had some visitors. Grandma Kuipers (Heather's Mom) and Great Grandma Holtgeerts (Heather's Grandma) came to visit for a long weekend. This was the first time for Great Grandma Holtgeerts to meet McKaila and the 3rd time Grandma Kuipers was able to travel to Waldorf to see McKaila.

We did a lot of shopping, which included a lot of summer clothing for McKaila. She is one spoiled baby. One day we traveled to Andrews AFB to see Daddy at work and do some shopping at the BX. More clothes and a toy for McKaila and an Air Force sweatshirt for me. Can't wait for summer, so McKaila can wear all the cute clothes we bought her.  After Courtney got out of work, we went to Applebee's to see Auntie Amber at work. McKaila is so good when we go out, she just loves to look around and see all the new surroundings. Ofcoarse we had to have one day to go to Ikea. We put McKaila in the Baby Bjorn and she's set to go. She loves it.

Also, this past weekend, Courtney and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary. Grandma Kuipers and Great Grandma Holtgeerts were nice enough to take McKaila off our hands for the night, to allow us to go out to dinner just the two of us. We ended up going to dinner at Olive Garden. We realized that night too, that we went to Olive Garden on our 1st Anniversary. Guess it's going to end up being our Anniversary place. All in all we had a wonderful Anniversary and can't wait to celebrate many more!!
