Pumpkins

Today, Courtney, McKaila, and I went to find our pumpkins. We wanted so badly to go to a pumpkin patch and watch McKaila walk around trying to find a pumpkin of her own, but it didn't work with our schedule. Courtney works all through the weekends when the pumpkin patches are open to the public and during the week, you either have to be part of a school group or you have to call and make reservations. I just wanted to go pick out some pumpkins, so we just ended up driving down the road and finding some.

We actually came across a farm called Cedar Hill Farm

We were the only ones there, so it was nice to let McKaila go where ever she wanted. Ofcoarse, I was excited about getting adorable pictures of McKaila with the pumpkins, but she didn't want anything to do with them. She just wanted to walk around and play in the dirt.
We ended up getting 2 big pumpkins (for Courtney and I) and a small pumpkin (for McKaila) and I also got a couple little pumpkins for decorating the house. We probably won't get to carve them until Courtney's next break, but I'm excited to see the look on McKaila's face when she touches the guts of the pumpkin.
