A Day At The Zoo

We wanted to do something with the kids before the school year started, so we asked them, zoo or aquarium and the chose the zoo. Thankfully, it wasn't as humid as it has been, but it was still pretty hot, but we all had fun, including Logan, who on our last trip to the zoo, slept through our whole visit.

We went on a Friday, which was great, because there wasn't a whole lot of people around, so the girls could run from one animal to the other without a problem.

It was a warm day, but Logan kept cool with his fan

Even with the heat, we all enjoyed ourselves. It's an all around amazing day, when you see your kids smiles ear to ear in everything that they do.

Logan James Bedroom

Logan's room has been decorated since before he was born. It was even decorated in boy decor when McKenna was still sleeping in this bedroom, but now, we finally have McKenna in a big girl bed, sharing a bedroom with McKaila and have pictures for the picture frames, so Logan's room is now complete.

I always knew that if we ever had a boy, the room had to be decorated with a sports theme. We have some Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and of coarse some Dallas Cowboys stuff to make Daddy happy. I love how everything turned out and a huge thanks to the hubby for being patient with me when I was trying to decide where everything needed to go.

The bat was my grandpa Holtgeert's

Table made for Logan by grandma Kuipers.

Just Like Daddy

The kids love when Daddy leaves his boots or hat on the steps because when he does, they make sure to snatch it up and play with them.

If you ever walk into our house after Courtney gets out of work, you will usually see one of the girls in his hat and the other wearing his boots. It's adorable and they love saying that they are just like daddy!
