Space Center Houston

On our way home from San Antonio, we decided to stop back in Houston for the night. We had only traveled a few hours that morning, but I have always wanted to check out the Space Center in Houston, so what better time to do it, then now.

I was very excited and I would really love to go again, when we have some more time. There was so much information to read and so much more to see than we got to. We wanted to make sure we went on the tour, which is a 45 minute ride, so due to that, we didn't get to see everything we wanted to.

I think that Courtney and I were more excited about all the space stuff than the kids, but they still enjoyed the kids area and just running around playing all the space launch games.

This is the actual control center where they monitored 9 Gemini and all Apollo Missions, including the historic Apollo 11 trip to the moon.

Saturn V Rocket, the most powerful rocket ever built and operated

It's over 36 stories tall and it's 1 of 3 that are left in existence
