Feeling Like Summer

There is nothing better then one of the first Saturdays of nice weather. No clouds in the sky, not cold, not hot, just perfect, beautiful weather. 

But, we did know, that come Sunday, the storms were going to be rolling in, so we wanted to take full advantage of the awesome weather we were having.

So, after running around doing some weekend errands, it was home to play outside. The number one thing the kids wanted to do... play with water! 

They didn't stay dry for long, because before we knew it they were asking for bathing suits. I just took off their shirts and called it good.

To end a great afternoon of outdoor play, we had to grill up some hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and some jalapeños. 

We even got to enjoy our meal outside too. I know we aren't going to be able to enjoy a meal later into the summer, so I wanted to take advantage of not having too many bugs surrounding our food. 

It sure was a great day! It was beyond wonderful seeing the kids play nicely with each other while Courtney and I enjoyed adult conversation without having to yell at the kids. It was a perfect night, for sure!
