Pumpkin Patch Fun

We are going to be having a couple busy weeks ahead of us, so Courtney and I decided to make it an early trip to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.

It was actually really great coming to the patch so early because we had a huge selection of pumpkins to choose from. McKenna saw one and stuck with her option the whole time, McKaila was torn between a few different pumpkins so in the end she lined every pumpkin up and that's how she picked her final pumpkin. For Logan, he just picked out a pumpkin that wasn't so heavy because he wanted to carry his.

It was fun roaming the field to find the perfect pumpkin for each one of us. Towards the end of our search, we started to feel the heat of the afternoon. There is no better way to cool down on a warm, fall day, then with an apple cider slushie.

After enjoying our apple cider, we let the kids run around and enjoy the play area. They had mazes, slides, a fire truck to check out, along with sand boxes to dig in.

It was hard to pull the kids away from all the fun they were having, but it was time for lunch. And lucky for me, we got to go to one of my favorite places to eat, Genghis Grill!!

It was such a fun day, it was a long day because we had other things that we needed to do after lunch, but to start it all off with finding our pumpkins and watching the kids laugh and play, it makes all this long days of ruining errands, worth it.

We love these 3 chicklins so very much!
