First Day of School

 Can’t believe that we are already here….

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

The summer sure flew by. Spent a lot of time in the pool and a lot of family time, which was much needed! Summer isn’t officially over, but as far as the kids are concerned it is. They were each excited to go back to school to see their friends, but not ready for our pool days to end. 

McKenna was not stop talking once she got in the van after school. She continued to say how good her day was and how excited she was for the rest of the year. She loves her teachers and she was excited that she has friends from last school year, in her class this year. 

Logan was not too sure when he got in the van after school. Once he had time to absorb the day, he couldn’t stop talking. He was a little bummed that he didn’t have any of his friends from last year in his class, but he was happy that his class wasn’t as loud as his classroom last year. 

McKaila, she was very nervous about her first day of 7th grade. When she got in the van after her day, our shy little lady did a lot of talking about her day and said she had a good day. Later that night, she did have a minor break down, but waking up this morning, she right away said that she slept really good and was ready to have an open mind about the school year.

The night before the first day of school, I was a mess. Yes, the kids drive me crazy most days, but I love them and love that I get to spend all this time at home with them. I am sad to see these summer days go, but excited to see what this school year has in store for the 3 of them. I believe it’s going to be a great school year for them!
