Clings

Nothing too exciting has been going on in the Polnicky household. Courtney has been working nights, so that hasn't been too fun. He's actually on his last set of night shifts, then he is back to days. It's hard not having him home at night to help with bath time and putting McKaila down at night, but I manage. Gotten pretty used to it, I guess. It's hard sometimes not having Courtney home much, that's why I think, when he is home, McKaila clings to him like none other. She wants his full attention.

During Courtney's time off, he finally got the chance to put up the Christmas lights outside, including our snowman, Frosty. That same night, we bundled up McKaila and went outside so she could see the lights all lit up. She kept pointing at Frosty and saying "ohhhhhh" It was adorable. We walked up to Frosty and the first thing she did was grab his nose. So funny because she thought it was going to come off, so the look on her face was great.
She's getting better with the presents under the Christmas tree. I think she just needed to explore a little and now she's over it. She still tries to take off the remaining bows, but she's pretty good at listening when we say "NO" She is now climbing on top of presents.

Notice that there isn't any bows on the presents she is sitting on. She tore those off right away. She really loves to climb on top of that present so she can see out of the window. Then, today, she started messing around with the Christmas clings. She would take them off then put them back on. Every time she would put it back on the window she would clap and say "yeah" She's the cutest thing ever and can't wait to see how she's going to be Christmas morning.
