Presents and Bows

Our Christmas Tree
Yesterday, we decorated the Christmas tree. There aren't as many ornaments on the tree this year, but it still looks good. We couldn't put too many ornaments on the tree because even when we were putting them on, McKaila was quickly taking them off. Also, the cats like to play with them, so it's easier not to put many at all.

My parents brought along some presents when they came here for Thanksgiving, so we already had presents to fill up underneath the tree. McKaila really has enjoyed that, and I don't think I've ever had to say "no" so much. She's loving trying to get the bows off the presents, which then opens them up. One of Auntie Amber's has been torn open along with Daddy's. We keep taping them back up, but who knows how long that's going to last.

She found a present she can stand on. So this is what she's been doing now.

McKaila was being silly this morning. Going up and down from the couch. Talking very loudly. She is crazy. I'm just surprised Courtney slept through it all.

Trying to get off her sock
I kept saying "NO" and she'd laugh
Always with the tongue out

McKaila kept making all these noices with her mouth. Before I started to record, she had been doing these noises for about 5 minutes. At the end of the video, listen. You can hear Bubble Guppies is coming on. That's when her face lights up. Every time Bubble Guppies is on, she'll look at Courtney or I with this huge smile on her face. It's adorable.
