Potty Training and Solids

We really haven't been up to a whole lot lately. Just chilling at home and doing some potty training.

Yes, we are getting a late start on it, but McKaila never seemed ready and eager to do it until this past weekend. One day, McKaila just came up to Courtney and I and told us she wanted to potty and wanted to wear her Doc McStuffins panties. Since then, McKaila has been doing really well with going potty on her potty. Of coarse, she's had some accidents, but not as many as I thought there was going to be. Each day there are less and less panties for me to wash, so that's good. I just love the face that she gets when she comes to tell me that she potties. She is so excited about it and can't wait to help flush the "big toilet" as she calls it. She's becoming such a big girl right in front of our eyes

McKaila loves getting on Daddy's scooter

McKenna is growing so fast too. We've been feeding her oatmeal cereal for a couple weeks now and she's loving it. And in the last few days we've been feeding her cereal twice a day. Next we start trying fruits and veggies, so I'm interested to see how well she'll do with that. McKenna is still rolling around a lot and keeping me busy. She's been getting her legs under herself so I'm sure we'll have a crawler on our hands soon. McKaila never wanted to crawl, she went straight to walking, so it will be interesting to have a crawler roaming around the house. Which also means that we have to start baby proofing the house.

Can never resist a sleeping baby
This girl and her Taggies blankets. She loves them

And last but not least. GO BLUE
