With The Good And The Bad

Potty training has been going really well with McKaila lately. The only accidents have been with her going poop in her panties, but little by little she is getting the hang of going on her potty. She has even been wanting to use Mommy and Daddy's potty, so we have a potty in about every bathroom right now. The one thing I was really worried about is how it would go when we were out for the day, but McKaila told me when she needed to go and we headed straight to the restroom. She was so happy for herself and I was so excited for her.

This is her happy face after she goes potty

McKenna has been keeping us busy that's for sure. She is loving getting to one place to another by rolling across the living room. She is also loving the solid foods and eats so well. We usually give her some oatmeal cereal in the mornings and in the evenings we have been feeding her pears and peaches. She really loved the peaches and took down a whole container like nothing.

But even though these girls are the happiest little girls, there are some tough days for sure. Days where I don't think they are going to end. But then I look at their beautiful smiles and I can't help but to smile and realize that these struggles are only going to last a moment and it's not worth dwelling over.

I'm just incredibly blessed to have these two little girls that fill up my heart day after day with lots of love. I say it over and over again, but it's never enough, but I love them so much. I love the cuddles, the "I Love You's", the screams, the laughs, the everything. Yes, the screams. The screams are hard, but when they are over, all your child wants is the comfort of your arms.
