Audubon Aquarium of the Americans

As McKaila's 4th birthday approaches, it was time to think of some where to take her for her birthday. As we have done in previous years, we take her some where for the day, instead of buying her gifts on her birthday. This is our present to McKaila from Courtney and I.

When we asked her where she wanted to go, she picked the aquarium. She wanted to go see the penguins and alligators, she said. She also knows, that with us taking her to a special place for the day, she also gets to pick out a special present, either it be a book or a stuffed animal. It's whatever she would like. So, when she picked the aquarium, she flat out said that she wanted to get an alligator when we got there. And so she did.

Between seeing all the fishes, sharks, penguins and feeding the parakeets, McKaila and McKenna had a blast at the aquarium. The up side to it all, was that we went on a down Friday, so there was barely anyone there. The girls loved running from one thing to the next and looking up in awe at all the animals.
We will be heading back again soon because we ended up with a family membership, so we can go to the zoo and the aquarium as much as we would like. And I know the girls will love that!
