Southern Promiseland Farm

It was finally time to hit up the pumpkin patch. The girls were super excited to go out in the fields to pick out their pumpkins to carve. Unfortunately, even though the website said there was a pumpkin patch it wasn't truly a pumpkin patch. We took a hayride over to where we thought was the pumpkin patch, but it was just a bunch of pumpkins that they have already picked. There was tons of small pumpkins, which were perfect sizes for the kids just to have, but nothing too big to carve.

We did however get a huge pumpkin for all of us to participate in carving. Usually, I would like each of us to have our own pumpkin to carve, but this is big enough for all of us to have a part in the carving process. I also didn't get a picture of the girls picking out their little pumpkins or the big pumpkin, but I will be posting a blog when we carve and paint the pumpkins.

We spent the afternoon at the farm with our friends the Hartwell's and the Papa's. The kids enjoyed playing in the play area, along with looking at the farm animals, roping the wooden horse, taking a ride of the cow ride and figuring our way through the corn maze. The kids had lots of fun running around and playing. It ended up being a pretty warm day, but it was still fun for all of us, none the less.
