Labor Day Weekend

My parents decided to make a last minute trip here for Labor Day Weekend.

With that, I tried thinking of some fun stuff for us to do that were indoors, since it was still incredibly hot here in North Carolina. 

I thought going to the Carolinas Aviation Museum, would be the perfect place to go. It's somewhere that we have been wanting to go and thought my parents would enjoy it too. 

The cool thing about the museum is that it has the miracle on the hudson plane there. I would say that was the main attraction for the museum. They of course, have other planes there, but the miracle on the hudson takes center stage.

It was shocking seeing the damage of the plane and seeing different videos and peoples belongings  from that day.  It's truly amazing that everyone on the plane survived!

The adults were in owe of all the stuff we could read about the miracle of the hudson, but all the kids wanted to do was run around and get in the planes that they were allowed to go into. Both girls have mentioned that they want to fly planes when they grow up. The love that these 3 kids have for planes will always be present, I'm sure because as long as Courtney is in the military, we will always be around them.
