Charlotte Knights Baseball

We finally got to attend our first Charlotte's Knights baseball game with the GVSU alumni group here in Charlotte.

It was a very hot night, but still lots of fun. Courtney got to mingle with other GVSU graduates and we got to take in a baseball game. They weren't the best of seats, but we were in the shade and not sitting in the hot sun, so I couldn't complain to much about not seeing home plate too much.

The kids had a fun time too. They mostly like eating all the ballpark food and getting all the little snacks that come with it, but they still enjoyed watching the game. The kids don't sit and watch a baseball game like they do a NASCAR race, but they still got entertainment out of it.

We actually didn't stay for the whole game. We could see that there were storms rolling in, so we were keeping an eye on the radar on our phones. Got to be the end of the 6th inning and looked like the storms were getting closer, so we made the decision to leave. Thankfully, we left when we did because so after we left the parking garage, it was a downpour. They called the game shortly after that.

We may have not finished the game, but it was lots of fun! Hopefully we will be able to attend another Charlotte Knights game in the future!
