Christmas Tree

It's Christmas time!! Our second Christmas in Cheyenne. Our first Christmas here, we were staying in a temporary house before our house was ready for us on base, which meant we couldn't decorate for Christmas because we didn't have any of our stuff.

So, to say I wasn't excited for this Christmas was an understatement. Right after Thanksgiving, I was ready to start decorating the house full of Christmas decorations. The only thing missing was our real Christmas tree.

We wanted to go cut down our own tree, but with Courtney having to work on the weekend for drill, we kind of ran out of time, so we ended up hitting up the local Home Depot and picking up a tree there.

The kids are always excited to decorate the tree, so I had the job of making sure the ornaments had a hook and the kids put all the ornaments on the tree.

Logan was eager to get the tree decorated so he could finally help daddy put the polar express train up around the tree. He was also eager to find the perfect spot on the tree for the bell.

Getting our tree was the final step and now it truly feels like Christmas in the Polnicky household!!
