Fishing Fun

Fishing has become a favorite past time for our family. If it's nice out, the kids right away ask if we can go fishing. 

The one thing that we wanted to make sure we did more this summer is have more outdoor experiences. Even though the base lake is right around the corner, it's still so nice to be all together, enjoying fresh air, and catching countless amounts of fish. 

The girls have become little experts at fishing. I think we all lost count with the amount of fish the girls caught. Logan on the other hand. I feel like he does better when he's doing the fishing thing with just mommy and daddy. When the girls are with us, he isn't as interested in sitting there with his fishing pole. He just wants to watch everything that is happening. 

This day of fishing, McKenna caught every size fish, that included the biggest fish of the day. She was excited and scared at the same time because it took a lot more effort for her to reel the fish in. But she did awesome and was so excited to see the fish once it was fully out of the water. 

Courtney finally was able to catch more then just the tiny fish! He was one happy daddy when he reeled this fish in!

Another great day of fishing in the books!! I think you will be finding our family at the base lakes a lot this summer, enjoying the sunshine, family time and fishing!
