Happy Thanksgiving

This year, we decided to stay home and enjoy Thanksgiving with just us, which hasn't happened in a while. It really is a good thing we decided to do so because we wouldn't have been able to go anywhere any ways with all the snow we received. (most of Cheyenne shut down)

When we decided to stay home for Thanksgiving, I had the job of figuring out a good recipe for the turkey. Normally, we deep fry the turkey, but we wanted to change it up and cook the turkey in the oven.

I may have found the recipe for the turkey, but I was not in charge of prepping the turkey! Nope!! won't do it!!

Courtney did have some helpers with prepping the turkey. McKaila and McKenna wanted to led a helping hand with getting things ready for Thanksgiving dinner, so they took turns measuring things out.

TIME FOR DINNER!!

The turkey turned out awesome! And so did all the other food!!

The food may have been very delicious, but we still had so much left over. Enough for days of turkey sandwiches and cream of turkey. And Courtney had plenty of turkey to take to work for lunch!

McKenna and Logan were the chosen ones to do the wishbone. And it broke straight down the middle!

What better way to end Thanksgiving day, then relaxing on the couch watching some football!

The day ended with our bellies very full and regretting we ate so much, but it was all worth it!

All and all, it was the best day, just spending time at home, prepping dinner together and just being all together, HAPPY!

Hope y'all had an awesome Thanksgiving!
