Walk of Art

Our artist, had their art displayed in Downtown Sumter. It was part of the Walk of Art for the Sumter School District. The kids were pretty excited about the fact that their art displayed for all of the Sumter residents to see.

McKaila’s art class was told to draw something around Sumter and McKaila decided to draw Sumter Speedway. I love that she thought of something that others wouldn’t think of and drew the speedway. And she did an awesome job.

McKenna had art work hanging, but she was kinda bummed about it because her art class started their art projects during the same time that McKenna had to stay home due to Covid. So, her art work wasn’t complete, but she was still excited that her art still got to be displayed. Even though it may not have been completely finished, I think McKenna’s work was amazing!

Our little art club dude, Logan, has really been enjoying art club. I’m so happy that he was willing to get out of his comfort zone a bit and join the art club. It was the art clubs art that was displayed downtown. Logan actually created a couple different items in their art window and he was proud of it all and he should be. He’s did an amazing job!
