We love when we have family visit, especially when it's family we haven't seen in a while.
With this visit, we welcomed Courtney's dad and step mom and a day later, we had another visitor fly in, Courtney's sister, Lindsay.
The kids always enjoy having their grandparents around and this time aunt Lindsay. They love to just stay at home, play outside and show them all their toys. Courtney and I also enjoy having them around because it's always nice to catch up on life in person and not just over the phone and we also get a much needed kid free day/night out.
We did make sure to show them around Cheyenne. We walked around downtown and we also spent an afternoon at Curt Cowdy State Park.
We wanted to go out and just let the kids run around and enjoy some fresh air, so we thought Curt Cowdy would be perfect for that. We packed up a picnic lunch and we spent the whole afternoon watching the kids running around and playing and just enjoyed a beautiful day!
It was a fun visit for everyone and we were all sad when the visit came to an end, but thankfully there are already talks about another visit coming soon!
