Eudora Safari Park

Off we go to the safari park!!

We were so excited to get out of Sumter and go out for an unknown adventure.

I’ve seen so many advertisements about the Eudora Safari Park on Facebook, that I finally had to just cave and buy tickets for us to go. And I’m so glad I did!!

We really didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into. We had been to a safari park in Texas, but that was a long while ago, so I was excited to see what we were about to encounter.

The second we got to the gate, we already encountered a new friend. He was more than happy to greet us and take all our food. The lady at the front gate told us that when we got to the gate, we just needed to keep going because the animals would start coming to us and not let us go anywhere. She was so right. The animals wanted all our food, but we slowly made our way out of the herd of animals to let the other animals in the park enjoy our food too.

At the start of our adventure into the safari, Logan was very against putting down his window to feed the animals, he said it just freaked him out too much to feed the animals. I had finally convinced him to put down his window because the animals around us weren’t too eager to take our food. Then after a few corners after me finally convincing Logan to put his window down, we came across…..

 The camel….

The camel, well… he was very eager to take our food. To the point that the camels head was practically all the way in our car, even made its way to Logan and McKenna in the second row. Unfortunately, the camel was so very eager to get our food, he took most of it. Thanks, Camel, but even though it startled us a bit, it made for a good laugh for the rest of our time at the safari.

But don’t forget about those dang ostriches. It’s one animal that I don’t like or trust or anything really. They are just out to get my eye balls. Joke, but really I hate those animals and they kept finding us and following us.

 Nope, not having it ostriches!!

We had a blast inside the safari park, but we’re so happy to find that after you go through the drive thru, you get to get out of your car, where you found more animals. McKenna was so happy to find her spirit animals, the lambies. She was in her happy place when she spotted the lambies from far away!

To add to it all, there was a little walk through area. We saw parrots, kangaroos and met some giraffes. The parrots even greeted us with a hello and said good bye as we left. That was pretty dang cool!

We had such a blast and I look forward to going back many more times. I know we will make countless memories there at the Eudora Safari Park!!
